In addition to 25 years of private business consulting which began initially as
part-time client assistance that evolved into Primary Source USA, Ms. Carrington
also has over 40 years of combined business experience in previous positions as:
VP-Midwest for a CA-based custom software and website development company; VP for
a digital imaging paper and equipment distribution company; Co-Owner of a graphics
design & printing company (sold in '93); and Advertising & Marketing Division Director
for a national advertising company specializing in TV, Radio and specialized Media. Ms Carrington has won
numerous creative and professional awards in the graphics and software design industries
as well as for her creative work in TV commercials and outstanding service in business
consulting; COO for a health/wellness company; and over 20 yrs of Amazon & eBay store experience.
Former Member of Executives Club of Chicago, YPO, Winthrop Harbor Yacht Club,
Red Hat Society; also member of WITI, Rotary Club of Carmel, the Contemporary Club of
Indianapolis, Fortnightly Literary Club and other business-oriented and social organizations.
She also had been invited to be a participant in Mayor Richard J Daley/City of Chicago's
Silicon Prairie Internet Technology Initiative.
Ms. Carrington devotes a great deal of her time, business skills and support as a
volunteer working on various committees of a number of non-profit and 501c3 charitable
organizations and for some of them has served for several years as: President and Treasurer of the
North Shore Women's Group; President of the Riverwoods Woman's Club; President of the Carmel
Woman's Club for five terms and currently serving again as Co-President; Treasurer for CarmelFest (City of Carmel and Central Indiana's largest
summer festival operated by the Rotary Club of Carmel, proceeds of which are used for
community and charitable causes); Mentor for Charter School students; and recipient
of Rotary's 'Service Above Self' Awards.
Ms. Carrington was the creator of the: Circle of Kindness Initiative/ Program for the at-risk
homeless; Children's Literacy Program for the underserved; and the Crockpot Program for Food
Pantries. Additionally, she also has served on Community Service, Financial and Advisory
Boards for many non-profits. She is currently the co-founder of a reorganized 501c3 charitable non-profit Carmel Woman's Club Inc which is dedicated to Education, Cultural Arts, Community and Government. The organization provides scholarships to women in dire financial need to help further their education and skills and assists with on-going mentoring to help these women secure better jobs to enable them to help support their families eliminating the need for public assistance programs.
Publications/Speaking Engagements
Ms. Carrington is the author of The Wellness Garden and Your Health Advisor newsletters,
along with article contributions to a number of magazines. She conducts employee training
seminars, health and wellness seminars, product focus groups and is available as a speaker
on a number of corporate, e-business, non-profit, retail, and health and wellness topics.
